Why Mandarin?
One quarter of the worlds’ population can speak Mandarin, which includes mainland China, Taiwan and increasingly Hong Kong and South-East Asia. The potential benefits to your child’s future of learning Mandarin are huge, as the economic and cultural ties between Australia and the Mandarin-speaking world continue to flourish.

When children learn another language, they develop more sophisticated minds than their monolingual peers, according to a study of bilingual children presented to the Society for Neuroscience (UK). A report on bilingual children - French and English in this case - was presented by professor Laura-Ann Petitto, PhD, a cognitive neuroscientist at Dartmouth College, who has spent over 30 years researching the biological foundations of language.
