Private Lessons

Private Lessons are provided at my place.

Category 1: 2 - 5 year olds

The lesson may cover greetings, craft, learning words, telling a story, singing a song, playing a game, typing and reading Chinese characters. (Refer to teacher's diary)

These lessons may adhere to a 12 week cycle depending on the size of the group.

The following suggestions of 12 weeks' topics are used as the reference:

  • Week 1: caterpillers
  • week 2: transport
  • week 3: farm animals
  • week 4: inside the house
  • week 5: lets have tea
  • week 6: dress me
  • week 7: fruit and vegies
  • week 8: big and small
  • week 9: make a face
  • week 10: a frog's body
  • week 11: a festival
  • week 12: make a dumpling

The price guide

60 minutes lesson
  • $30 per head for 2 pupils
  • $20 per head for 3 pupils
  • $15 per head for 5 pupils

Self-made DVD of 30min (inculsive of telling stories, toy show, live kids performance and etc.) suitalbe for non-Mandarin speaking families . $15 each (Refer to teacher's diary post "self-made DVD sample" for sample clips)

Category 2: school students

  • Lessons will follow a suitable textbook.
  • The price guide refers to category 1.
  • $60 for 1 on 1 lesson.

Category 3: parents or other adults (for leisure or business)

  • Lessons will follow a suitable textbook
  • The price guide
  • $65 per hour at my place (max 2 people)
  • $75 per hour at your place (no limit of number of people)
  • The time of all lessons are subject to negotiation.
